Walking Safari

Adventurous tendencies? Then choose the exciting walking safari. The kilometres long route winds past chimpanzees and elephants, to lions and penguins. Make a nice trek stop in the African village and stand face-to-face with hyenas, rhinoceros and gorillas. Along the route there are boards to give you more information about the animals and you will find play apparatus for endless playing fun. Spot to remember: the savannah with zebras, giraffes and buffalo. Once you've arrived at the Kongo restaurant you can naturally choose to take the safari bus, the safari boat or to walk back along one of the other walking routes.

Walking Safari with Ranger

Any group can choose to go on the walking safari with an experienced ranger. This can take place during or outside of opening hours. This means you can learn more about all the animals in the safari park. If you would like to take this opportunity, you need to book the ranger in advance (at least 3 days before your arrival). A ranger costs start at € 90.00 for an approximately 2 hour walk with a maximum of 25 participants. For larger groups you can of course book more rangers. For more information, please contact the Reservations Department on 0031 (0)900-0200 (€ 0.35 per call).

Feeding Presentations

Along the walking route feeding presentations are also given. Then you can find out more about the animals' eating habits. You can find more information and feeding times under food presentations.

Combining the Safaris

Combining different safaris makes for a beastly adventure. Start with the car safari, get on the bus at the back of the park, followed by a trip on-board the safari boat and finish off the day with a stroll. That way you know that you will meet as much wildlife as possible. All of these safari routes are included in the entry price.
